Mrs. Tiffany White
Mrs. White comes to LCA with much energy and excitement.  She will soon begin pursuing a degree in elementary education.  She is married and has a son who attends LCA.  She is involved with the children’s ministry at Elgin Missionary Baptist Church and has homeschooling experience.  Her life verse is Matthew 22:37-39: “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’.”

Mrs. Ginger Cole
Mrs. Cole has been involved in Kingdom Education for 16 years, serving at Florence Christian Academy and most recently at Shoals Christian School.  She taught elementary grades and Music. She feels led of the Lord to serve in Kingdom education.  She, her husband and daughter attend Center Star Church where she uses her God given gifts to be a part of their Children's Ministry.   Her life verse is Romans 5:3-4 (ESV), “…we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.”

Mrs. Laurie Wilson

God brought Mrs. Wilson to LCA from Tennessee.  She received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary education from Union University and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in the Christian School from Regent University.  She previously taught over 20 years at Trinity Christian Academy in Jackson, TN.  She and her husband, Andy, faithfully serves at New Prospect Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN.  She and Andy have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and two young grandchildren.  Mrs. Wilson’s Kingdom Education Bible passage is Colossians 2:2-3: “My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

Gracie Murphy
Mrs. Murphy joins us this year with much enthusiasm and eagerness.  She is married to Jamie and attends Redeemer Presbyterian Church.  She has her BS in History and MA in History from UNA.  She is currently working on her MA in Elementary Education.  Her favorite Bible passage is Ephesians 5:1-2, “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.”

Mrs.Mandy Harper
Mrs. Harper is with us on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  She has been a part of LCA since its beginning.  She taught K4 at LCA in the past.  She has a Bachelor of Music in piano pedagogy from the University of Montevallo.  She also serves as a private piano teacher in the area.  She is married to Bill Harper who serves as pastor of First Baptist Red Bay, MS.  They have three sons. Her favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Mrs. Shannon Reynolds
Mrs. Reynolds is an organized, enthusiastic teacher who joined Legacy with more than 15 years of experience.   Mrs. Reynolds feels called to be a part of Christian school education.   She has a degree in Elementary Education from Athens State and holds a current Alabama Teacher Certification.  She taught at Haleyville Elementary School before moving to the Killen area.  She is married to Greg and has two children (twins).  They are members of St. James United Methodist Church.  Her life verse is Ephesians 5:1-2, “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children, and walk in love as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma.”

Mrs. Christa Burbank
Mrs. Christa Burbank serves as our Administrative Assistant in the front office and with our teachers.  She comes to LCA with a heart's desire to serve the Lord in Kingdom Education.  She and her husband, Chris, are the parents of one beautiful daughter and are members at First Baptist Church Center Star. She has a BS degree in Marketing from UNA.

Mrs. Anita Clounch

Mrs. Clounch has been involved in Christian education as a parent and educator for many, many years.  She has an education degree from the University of North Alabama and previously taught at Covenant Christian School in Tuscumbia, Northwest Christian Academy (merged to become Shoals Christian School in Florence, AL) and Grace Christian Academy in Louisville, MS.  She and her husband, Brad serve the Lord at St. John’s Methodist Church in Florence, AL.  They have one grown son, who served in the USMC, and a beautiful daughter-in-law and one grand-puppy.   Her life verse is Psalm 116:16-17: “Truly I am your servant, Lord; I serve you just as my mother did; you have freed me from my chains.  I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the Lord.”

Mrs. Zoe Plunk
Mrs. Plunk has been involved in Kingdom Education for over 20 years. She brought a wealth of experience and a heartfelt commitment to the Lord to LCA.  She graduated with a BS in Special Education from Mississippi State University.  She is a member of Grace Life Church of the Shoals.  She has four grown children and four precious grandchildren.  Her favorite verse is Lamentations 3:22-23,”Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.  They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”
